Little Letters {January}

Joining Kristin at Taz and Belly for another Little Letters link up.  These posts are always fun... help me let out a little bit of my inner Jimmy Fallon and his Friday night, thank you notes sketch.

Dear Twinstar,
Before I bought this TV stand I was happy to not know you.  When the fire place insert shorted within three days and I called and was told I'd receive a replacement insert right away, I thought, GREAT!  That was easy!!  After 12 days of no new insert, I called you again and was told nothing was done with my claim and I  should not have been told that.  What???  Instead, after another 12 days I was sent a new Mother Board, that I was told to install myself because it's was very user friendly.  Guess what? It wasn't.  A customer should not have to deal with exposed wires and cutting. Those exposed wires revealed that they were fried and the new Mother Board was not an option.  So a third call was made where I demanded a new insert be sent and after another 12 days, the whole insert was delivered and I was successfully able to install it myself.  Go Me!  So finally after two months, I can now enjoy my new fireplace in this awful weather!!  And I still hate Twinstar and their stupid customer service portal and their lies!

Dear Summer Vacation...you're so close but still so far away!!  Just get here already.  I can't wait for the summer days of sleeping in and laying out!  Hurry on up, would you please!?!? #10moredays

To My 8th Grade Friends,
I know we joke all the time and I've had a countdown going til your graduation, since maybe November (just kidding!!) but I might miss you most of all!  My kindergarten loves I know I'll see again!  Thanks for all the laughs (even when we shouldn't have been!) and the kind words about my fashion and style!  HA!  There were no high fives or fists bumps from me all year, but as you go off to high school, high fives and fist bumps all around!!

Dear Main Street,
Loving that you've added retail to our little town.  I love shopping your boutiques and cute shops that no other town has!!  I look forward to a summer of fun and scavenger hunting in town.



Dear Connor,
You are a stinker!  And I enjoyed every {short} minute I got to spend with you!

Dear Jet Blue,
Please have a flash sale so I can head to NC this summer...the Brew Tour MUST HAPPEN!!

Dear JCrew Factory,
Thanks for having my go-to shorts on sale every summer!  AND cheaper than Target!!  LOL

Dear Air Conditioning,
I love having you in the library and lab on these 90 days!  It's so pleasant!!  And everyone's jealous!! LOL  Having to have my door shut all day, ain't half bad either!

Dear Nashville and the Preds,
I love you, your town, and your sportsmanship.  Thanks for combining my love of country music with my newfound love of the team.   Playoff hockey is THE BEST and this was the first final I've watched in years. Thanks for making it a fun one.  I was rooting for you every step of the way...and so was everyone not in Pittsburgh, I think!

Little Letters: Spring is Here!

A few weeks ago when I posted on The Blended Blog for TBB Loves, I mentioned that I had started reading Taz and Belly.  I love her little letters idea.  So today I'm joining in on the linky fun with a few little letters of my own!

This month my letters are taking on a theme: Spring!!

Dear Spring,
Thanks for finally getting here!!  I welcome your 60 degree temps and the opportunity to sit out on my postage stamp patio and in my rocking chair in the front, and get my tan on.
Also,here I feel like I should include a letter of thanks to my neighbors who know me doing this is just me being me!!

Dear April Showers,
For every sunny day, there's 5 rainy days! Thanks for helping me rock the rain boots every other day these past two weeks.  Last Little Letters post, I mentioned that I was over leggings and boots!  Well...I lied!!  When you HAVE TO get up and head to work in the pouring rain, there is no easier outfit to throw on than leggings and rain boots!  And also maybe did because of this...

Dear Skinny Pants and New Summer Bathing Suits,
Thanks for the reminder that this body is not yet "skinny pants" or bathing suit ready!!  That was a nice touch. I need to get me ass in gear!

Dear Spring Break, 
Finally!  This break will help to recharge me and get me into the home stretch of the school year as well as give me the opportunity to read...and work out!  (See above!!)

Dear Sarah Bareilles and the entire cast of Waitress: The Musical,
Thanks for helping me kick off my Spring Break with a bang!  Loved every second of the show and  have not stopping singing along since!  Definitely a new fave!  Any day spent on Broadway is a good day...

Dear Locale,
My new home!  LOL  My favorite new place in town!  Great food and wine and a place I see spending much of my spring break at!!

Dear Easter,
Can't wait to spend the day with family.  So glad mom and dad are home to spend the holiday with us!  Hope everybody has a Blessed Easter!

Little Letters

Thanks for making my day!  I heard you yell, "It's a blister outside" as I was walking by...I had a good laugh knowing you meant blizzard!

Dear Snow, 
Thank you for holding off so that we get the day in!  I'll take the snow day next week!  Even though we're going to be in school until July!

Dear Spring, 
Where are you?  I'm so over snow and scarves and boots.  I'm wishing for white jeans and open toe booties!

Dear Mailman, 
Yesterday you put three packages at my front door that didn't fit in my mailbox, then I went to the mailbox and found another.  Couldn't you just brought all of them to my door!?!?

Dear This is Us, 
Why do you break my heart a little each week?  And great job on making old Mandy Moore look like Sally Field!

Dear Amazon,
Thanks for the free returns!

Dear Co-worker Friend,
Thanks for getting that coaching job after school.  Those three weeks you did after care on Thursday til 6, I really enjoyed my one day off...getting home at 3, a few happy hours, etc. Now I'm back to doing it...so what I really mean to say is, thanks for nothing!  :)

YAY!  You're finally getting here!  This week was worse than the last (the first week back after a break)!
