Friday Favorites is Making a Comeback!!

Back to posting my faves this week!  And I'm really excited because there was lots of fun happenings!!  Take a peek at the week!

Monday, I was surprised to find out that I won a giveaway on Instagram for a super fun teacher notepad!!  How cute is this!
Check out Monday's blog post for more!!

Tuesday, I was sad that Trump's speech bumped my This is Us plans with my neighbor, but my friend came out for dinner!  We don't get together that often, just the two of us, so it was a treat!!

Since I'm a big TV head and huge fan of the Chicago shows on NBC, I was dorkily excited for the three hour Chicago Crossover.  You can bet I was cozy in my pj's with wine in hand on Wednesday night after a day with no prep and a lunch duty to boot!  #teacherproblems #Iknownoonefeelbadforme Looking forward to the premiere of Chicago Justice on Sunday!

Yesterday was Read Across America Day!  We celebrated at school with a dress down day...all the students had to wear a graphic tee or any other tee that a friend could read!  This teacher-librarian was in my glory with a dress down but the day was unexpectedly busy!  It was a super fun one though!!

This week began the season of Lent.  Last year, I participated in Dynamic Catholic's Best Lent Ever program centering around the book, Rediscover Jesus.  This year I am participating again.  This time with Resisting Happiness.  I'm really excited to delve into the book, and reflect on the chapters and videos as I await Easter.   Won't you consider joining me and have your Best Lent Ever?  Find out more here!

Thanks for visiting the blog today!!

Looking forward to the weekend!  This first week back has been rough...I think I've slept a total of 7 good hours all week!  Hopefully I get to do more of that tonight!
