April....one sentence at a time!

Hey all!  Monday has come around again....ugh! Today I'm switching things up!  Last Monday was an April rewind...in numbers!  Today I'm summing up April with just one sentence a day.  My blog friends did this last week so I'm a lil' late to this party, but better late than never I suppose!  And this is always fun, so I didn't want to let it go!

April...one sentence at a time!

1- That was a cute one!  (I said this to myself after watching a Hallmark movie! Because, yes, I was home on a Saturday night watching a Hallmark movie...HA!)

Hallmark Channel

2- A Sunny Sunday!?!?  YES PLEASE!!

3- Mondays are rough, but rainy Mondays are THE WORST!!

4- Woo Hoo!  I got a fan deck!!

5- I love my bed!

6- It's amazing how much time I spend just scrolling!

7- You get a 5 if you can tell me how many Wednesdays and Fridays I have left with this class....

8- These meals are really good, but it always takes me longer to make than they say!

9- Love me a Sunday with a little sun, a yummy lunch, wine and a good friend!!

10- Faculty field trip!! (I saw Beauty and the Beast for the second time!)

11- Vacation Begins!

12- I loved it!!

13- I'm not sure this is the best place for lunch on Holy Thursday!

14- It is finished.

15- Well I just eat what I want and worry about it later.

16- This Easter feels more like the 4th of July!

17- They saw something in me...lol

18- How have a never seen Sing?

19- Why not?

20- At least we laugh a lot Ker!

21- The Patchogue Princess...WHAT?!?!

22- Lauren's too cool for us, Amy!

23- It never comes out as good as they do it at the salon!

24- No WAY!!  UGH!! (Finding out the school year is one more day then you thought it was going to be! #thumbsdown)

25- Oh my goodness!  Thank you so much for thinking of me friend!

26- 2 days down!  2 days to go!

27- I really wanna win this!  (I didn't win it!!)

28- She couldn't hang with us, Cath!!

29- You know you're my favorite!

30- Happy Shower Day...YAY!!!!  What I really should write is "You can't walk in to the shower with your own gift!!" (she did....)

Sentences

The first Thursday of the month, I like to get together with my blog friends and recap my month...one sentence at a time.  March was such a LONG month wasn't it. Here's what a can recall of it!!

1-Woo hoo!  March is here! (One of my favorite months, but also by the time we hit the end of it I couldn't wait to turn the page on April!)


2- My last Thursday of Freedom!!

3- Oops!

4- That wasn't embarrassing at all!!

5- Taco Chicken for Days!

6- Monday....Blah!!

7- Seriously Kid!

8- International Women's Day....CHEERS TO THAT!!

9- I didn't mean to make you cry.  (I said this to my friend after she shed some tears upon receiving her birthday gift from me!)

10- It's a Friday in Lent...we shoulda had pizza!

11- Yea- no thanks!  (that Saturday I had the chance to go out and chose not to...  It was below zero out...lol)

12- It's tradition now! ( Spending SCMA Sunday with my Amy Girl)

13- SNOW Day tomorrow!  What?!?!

14- What a dud!  (The Snow Day that saw very little snow!!)

15- Happy Leftover Pi Day!

16- I don't mess around with a dress down!

17- My high holy day has arrived!

18- Tale as old as time....

19-This is a socially acceptable place to be by myself...and I'm among friends here!

20- Spring my ass...

21- Of course it never works out for me!

22-I'd rather have students than be doing this!

23- I am beyond exhausted...

24- Pictures of the cake alone??????

25-It's ridiculous that I'm crying this much!  (I cried way more than a normal adult should have at Pete's Dragon!! LOL)

26- Well this was a super-productive day!

27- Lash Dash ends this week?!?

28- Come on in friends!  (Opt outs for state testing always hang with me in the library during testing)

29- Where are your parents?  Just kidding!  I love you all! (A filled-to-capacity day in After Care!)

30- I will not have wine tonight...I will not have wine tonight...I will not have wine tonight!

31- Game Night!  Whoop! Whoop!!

July in a Sentence-a-Day!

Ok...I'll admit....this month kinda got away from me!  I missed three days!  It's summer ya'll!! But I had some really funny sentences and I didn't wanna miss linking up with my bloggy buddies, so I hope it's not against the rules that I play along anyway!!

July in a Sentence-a-Day!

1.  Time is a tricky thing.

(I cheated with this one!  But this is the first line in the book First Comes Lovethat I started reading today.  I was taken aback and got choked up by that line...saying it over and over!  What a great hook for a book and reader!)

2. What the Fourth?!?

3. You're either in or you're out!  (My parents are super serious Mexican Train Players!)

4.  Good Luck Meg!  (Me realizing my sister's gonna have her handful with Reagan while Tara's away!)

5. Thank you Jesus!

6. I like being with me....

7.  I might listen to Lionel Richie way more than is socially acceptable in this day and age! (Lionel's Tuskeegee album has been my go-to album while I'm out in the sun!

8.  GO NAKED!!

9.  We can't leave Garth!!

10.  So worth the wait!!!

11.  Stew Leonard's and Free Slurpies?!? This is like the BEST DAY EVER!!

12. Second Annual IHOP DAY!!

13.  Are you Kidding?!?  This is so much freakin' fun! (My response to Jenny when she asked if she was putting me out, having to travel to see her!)

14.  Good Lordy Nordy!

15.  Well this is not how I expected to start my morning!!

16, 17, 18

19.  YOU GUYS LOVE MY DAILY PHOTO!!!!!

20.  You're the best John (Expressing my love to my mailman!  He tells me I keep him in business!!)

21.  You might live a solitary life if...

22.  Why not?!?

23. I win!

24.  I will...I will!!

25.  We made it!!

27.  You're the light meat and I'm the dark meat! (Me comparing my tan to my bestie's tan)

This just might be the funniest and most fun thing I saw on the beach! He asked me to do it!  I said no...I should have said yes!

30.  I love my job....WOW!  (We heard this all day by the pool MC, so we started saying it too!)

31.  FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.........
I know this is not the most pleasant way to end the month, but this is what I said, when I found out that half the contents of my luggage was stolen at some point in the Punta Cana Airport!!

1-Go Me!  Said this to myself after spending the first day of May prepping and scheduling the whole week's worth of blog posts.

2-Wait til you hear Miss Mitchell speak Spanish today!  (Celebrating Cinco de Mayo in the Library and reading aloud one of my favorite books, Manana Iguana!)

3-I broke my own rule!

4-Life....basically!!

5-It's Cinco de Mayo, you have to take the free tequila shots!

6-And we're off...finally!!!

7-C'mon Danzing Candy!!

8-I love Mexican train

9-What?!? I'm no Jennifer Aniston!

10-I can't believe it either. My response when my BIL said, "I can't believe you're doing this all over again on Friday!"

11-I love my tan!

12-I can't believe I'm doing this again (pack to go away...again!)

13-The World Famous Open Kitchen

14- If I get married, I wanna be very married....this is mine!!!  LOL (There were super cute quotes as the centerpieces at my cousins wedding...this was one that totally made me laugh!  I took it home...It's now the centerpiece on my kitchen table!  HA!

16-Home Sweet Home!

17-Subbing really just means I'm two people! Grrr.....

18-Please don't pick your nose then touch the mouse!

19-Because maybe you're gonna be that one that saves me!And after all, you're my Wonderwall.  This song was in my head all day after seeing a teacher friends Wonder Wall bulletin board!

20-That was really cute!  (The school show)

21-Noooooo.....what do I do?  (Me after realizing I left my phone at home and I was already on the train!)

22- I should really do something today...

23-I'm already tired and it's only Monday!

24-This is like it's 4:35, not 5:35 with the amount of kids still here! #aftercareproblems

25-V.I.P...it's how I roll.

26-Be a pineapple!!  Stand tall, wear a crown and be sweet on the inside!

27-I always take the walk.

28-We're not callous...just honest.

29-Lean and Dabb...

30- I really have to clean this place!

31-At least your getting a tan! (Said this to my favorite mailman!)

Throwback Thursdays is taking a little break for the summer! 

Our First Foray into a Sentence-a-Day!

Blogging with some of my favorite ladies from The Blended Blog today!  And we're doing something a little different but so much fun!  We've decided to commit to documenting April in a Sentence-a-Day.  Sarah had seen this done before and told us all about it.  I was immediately on board and super excited to give this a try!
So here goes...

April

1st- Eating anything other than meatballs at Meetball is just wrong!

2nd- We may not get together often but when we do, it's always fun.

3rd- It's totally ok to have left all this work for the very last day of vacation.

4th- Where did Spring go?

5th- The world is full of nutjobs...it doesn't matter where you are!

6th- Maybe I overdid it...

7th- I need to retire.

8th- I'm not getting worked up!  Are you kidding me??

9th- He hung himself-like with a real rope!

10th- Happy Tea Party Day!

11th- There's not enough coffee to get me through this Monday!

12th- And so the dreaded last hour begins.

13th- We'll still be here til 6 o'clock!

14th-I really should have gone to Vegas!

15th- What a waste! (Speaking about wine that went wasted in my fridge!)

16th- Woo Hoo!!  Bake Me! (Me to...the sun!)

17th- This is a "shady area". (Where my sister likes to park her big-ass truck in parking lots!)

18th-Unfortunately I didn't go anywhere. (My response to everyone at work who wanted to know where I went for the weekend since I was so tan!)

19th- This world is scary small!!  (Me after meeting someone from grammar school after 25 years who said...I know you!)

20th- You can get a little tipsy on Tuesday...you can't get drunk!

21st- Happy Poem in Your Pocket Day! (100x to all my students today)

22nd- Wine...I've missed you!

23rd- I'm not even drunk yet but I've just been to 3 really sketchy places looking for the bathroom. (Things I say to school parents at the Spring Fling!)

24th- 4:50 a.m....you've got to be kidding me!

25th- I just really love my tulips!

26th- You ready for this Meg? (Asking my sister if she's ready for what a blog photo shoot with me entails! HA!)

27th- I really don't need wine tonight! (I know...I'm shocked these words came out of my mouth too!)

28th- I LOVE IT!  (Me in the salon!)  Eeeeekkkk!!!  (Me when I got home..but i really do love it!!)

29th- I really just need a guy to take out my garbage! (The actually words that came out of my mouth while watching my neighbor take out his garbage...lol)

30th- As long as she doesn't spit in our food we'll be alright!
