These are a few of my favorite things....
Book Club was a success! I mentioned in last Friday's 5, that I had started a book club! Well the first meeting was a success! Clearly there was more drinking than there was talk of the book but the general consensus was that everyone liked it!
The final Downton! On Sunday night I settled in to watch the final episode of Downton Abbey! I know reviews were mixed but I really enjoyed it. No big character died, (like I thought would happen) and I thought all ended well. I liked that Edith got her happy ending and wasn't the dreaded spinster that everyone feared ( #Iamaspinster...thank you Downton!).
Random Tuesday night movie. After finally renewing my card, I am back to heading to the library on a regular basis. I recently requested a bunch of movies and on Tuesday the movie, Miss You Already was ready for pick up! So I decided to watch it! I really enjoyed it, but let me tell you...the ugly cry came out....perhaps it was even beyond ugly!! It is in those times I am happy I live alone!! I should've known with a tagline of "The Beaches of 2016!!"
Record Breaking Temps!! Woo hoo!! It hit 70's this week!! Boo Hoo for not being able to enjoy it as much as I would have liked! Stupid work! HA! But just the sun and the warmth makes me a happier person and gets me excited for the Spring to come. And I know it was a fluke and these temps won't last but....
I'm just gonna leave you with this...because it was probably the most delicious thing I put in my mouth all week. This is the Irish Car Bomb Sundue...Guinness-soaked chocolate cake, ice cream, Irish Cream whipped Cream, and Jameson caramel, topped with toffee pieces. Ridiculous! YAY for St. Patty's Day desserts!
